The board's way too customised now to be able to just load a pre-made theme, without a great deal of work. The theme contains a lot of modification code that can't just be loaded and unloaded in one click.

However.. there's still plenty of time to do a special version of this one if people wanted, before the 31st.. along the lines of what we did for Christmas '07.

I'll do a little work on blackening the overall colour scheme, (more work than you think because some areas are composed of many small 'slices') - then maybe if people want to post images they think could be good to include, I'll try to work some of them in. Not all will be acceptable for technical / visual integration reasons though - often, transparency halo effects / colour depth mismatches etc cause difficulties so don't be offended if an image you suggest can't be used.

Broadly, high resolution full-colour images with well-defined edges, that have a darkish single-colour or transparent background will probably work best. Also we need to ensure that any images we use, we have permission to use either explicitly or via their already being in the public domain.

Once complete, theme will be saved and credits given where credits due  gif
