My washer blew up last week.......literally......big long tale which I won't bore you with..............cos then I'll start getting gif again. Anyway my washing was locked inside and the guy who has taken it away to to try and fix it managed to get into it and get my washing out so just been to pick it up.

If I remember correctly, last time we bought a washing machine we shopped around a bit & found a deal where we could have the machine straight away but had 12 months to pay for it.
It wasn't HP as such because if you paid in full before the 12 months was up you just paid the cash price with no interest, but if you didn't pay it went onto a 3 year credit deal (whch was expensive) - we just saved 10% of the price each month for 10 months & went & paid it off. Didn't really hurt the wallet too much doing it that way.
Can't remember where we bought ours but it was one of the electrical places up at Kew - might be worth a look to see if you can still get a similar deal gif

must admit i got my washer/dryer off buy as you view


probably paying over the odds but if i ever have an emergency and need a large item i know i can ring them as i have an account.

also the great bit was when it broke down hotpoint were there within two days and the repairs cost me nothing Wink
