I think I am paying for the whole feckin' block ... I spoke with my neighbour tonight to see how much she pays. Bearing in mind we only have one storage heater on, Sky TV, computer running all day, DVD player (for mister), new fridge-freezer (A rated) lights and the washing machine

She has all the storage heaters on, every light in the house 3 different music stereos blasting out of the kids rooms, sky TV on in two rooms and a tropical fish tank running 24/7 ... and she pays £50.00 PCM.
(I hope she is not wired in to mine gif)

I will be on the phone tomorrow cos I just got out the last 3 bills - in total I have paid Scottish Power (Since April 08)  £1498.97p; every 3 months the bill averages £499. and that's not including the money I paid them last year (and the year before)

It most certainly is I was mortified when they put my bill upto £205 pcm on Friday - I could understand it if I was in arrears!

I have tried to change to Eon a few times but Scottish Power doesn't want to seem to let me go - no feckin wonder - if they are raking this much money in.  Eon thought it was because I as in arrears until I faxed over the bill and bank statement proving its paid by DD.

Just wait until tomorrow ... SP will get a few stern words and I want someout to check the meter cos I think I may be on a tad to high rate!!

Good luck with SP Groovy, I can't begin to describe the trouble I had when I phoned them last - possibly the most useless company I've dealt with in living memory. They actually couldn't find my records, and in the end, simply didn't know what to charge me. The 'advisors' clam up when asked for elevation and simply enter a 'no I cannot do that sir' loop.

In the end I found the answer was, at the first sign of incompetence, hang up, redial, waste two hours whilst you navigate a maze of on-hold systems and speak to a different advisor. I went through five before I got anything like coherent action.

In the end they admitted they had no idea who I was or what my record of usage was - and issued a final bill for zero pounds. After I threatened to charge £60 per hour for sitting like a lemon on hold.

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole again.
