u know the ones Trin.. they make 'em so as their outline's almost the same shape as the old 60 watt bulbs.. so you can use the lampshades that clip to the bulb itself on them

don't you just hate it when you type a 20-liner in the shoutbox, then suffer a sudden random muscle twitch and belt the mouse halfway to china, thereby destroying one's post :(

Here’s a few more just for you Cas.

The pilot took us right down to the water.

Lakeside hotel with the passenger boats moored alongside.

I just wish I could remember what these pictures are showing.

This light aircraft came and waved, dipped his wings actually, we waved back of course.

Lake Coniston!

Lots of homes and farms have their own miniature lakes too.

Just had a look at these and the previous set and what a fantastic set of photos.
With some breath taking views. I will have to get my brother in law to look at these. We are both going on the same balloon and trying to go from the same place if possible.
Can't wait for it just hope we get the same weather you did, and will have to get a wide angle lens for some aerial views my self.

Glad you liked them Peter, the flight was a fantastic experience!

The flights only go in good weather, high wind, heavy rain and it doesn't go, you have to ring them a few hours before take off, it saves you travelling if the flight is called off.

BTW, take a hat or cap with you, if you are tall and have grown through you hair like me, it can get a bit hot on the head if you get in the middle of the basket underneath the burners. :gasp:
