I think it is outrageous that you don't get repite, you need a break too. You need to have someone capable of meeting your sons needs and respite should be provided.

We too have the hitting, screaming and head banging if Dill doesnt get his own way. The worst bit is if I am holding him and he throws his head back into my face, had a few nosebleeds form that.Changing him too also causes alot of banging and screaming.

He has to have a pram that has padded sides (nightmare for hubby though as we need one hand fold too) so he doesnt bang his head. He can get out of most things due to being small and bendy. He used to climb out of his travel cot and had bruises on the back of his legs from sitting on the top of it. I tried to ask social services to help me get a new pram (as my mum broke the last one) but they were useless.

It is a complete nightmare to take him out as he will climb out of the pram and try to walk off and when you put him back in he will scream and bang his head. Hubby finds it hard to take him out on his own, even worse if he has all three.

I understand you not wanting the vaccines. Dill had his MMR but I have refused the swine flu.

You should get extra nursery support as is not right to segregate him he needs interaction the same as any other child.

I am glad to hear that on the whole you do seem to be getting some good help.

People see me coming and think $hite she's here, but as I deal; with these people on a daily basis professionally they is no escape for them.

Good luck with your appointments and more importantly don't let them fob you off;  Until Benj hit 3 yrs we had lets wait and see until I said "NO, enough of that lets act now"

If you need anything, want to know how to access certain services? or just want to rant (cos I know it helps) you know where I am.

GRRR went to see GP and they told me that the alder hey dentist won't see Dillan because his teeth are only baby teeth.

So I am now on the look out for a new dentist that may agree to give him a proper diagnosis.

Also hospital cancelled blood tests for today and i have to go on Monday now and then i am back there on the 19th. I so wish we had a children's hospital here, they won't even do blood tests in southport because he is under 2 (will be 2 on the 25th)

not sure what help they will be if any
But there is a community dentist on houghton (sp) street in the new health center.   They deal with kids with special needs and the lady there is fantastic.

I am so happy my Dad has just said he is going to send me the money so that i can pay to take Dillan to see a specialist in London.

I have been very worried about him as he has gone down to 19lb this week.
