Yet another missing disk fiasco. BBC news is reporting that a hard drive containing 100,000 serving MOD personell records including core personal data has gone walkabout. Plus, 600,000 applicants data into the bargain.

And yet they keep expecting us to trust in the system  gif

Just hope that (a) the disk has just been misplaced rather than stolen in some kind of sinister scenario, and (b) that the data on it is encrypted to some kind of serious level.
