I've got a budgie chirping in my disc brake on me bike, it's driving me crazy,  gif how do I get rid of it.

It only goes away when I apply the brake, but it's getting hard work cycling with the brake on. gif

Your disc has a slight warp in it......i get it on mine due to heavy breaking and head build up.......

You need to release i tiny bit of tention off the cable.....there should be a cable adjuster on the caliper or leaver.......

Before you do that tho....swap your disc pads so right is on the left...left is on the right....incase the pads are unevenly worn......

Another idea it to locate the possition of the rub......narrow it down by moving the disc back and forth thru the calliper.....

Then when you know where the rub is turn the wheel so the bit of disc that rubed is directly opposite the calliper...then with your thumbs either side of the disc push the rotor in a few times and the see if the rub is worce or better when spun thru the calliper again...

If its woce do the same above but pull the rotor out...its trial and error but it works for me........... gif
