I just booked a villa for my holiday next May/June.   gif  Hubby not too chuffed as we haven't been to France for this years holiday yet.  gif

I have just told the kids we are going to FLORIDA !!!!!!!
http://www.apfloridavillas.com/  gif

I kept hearing fab reviews about the villa. It is owned by a couple from Southport

I can't book flights this far in advance though - need to do that in a couple of months. I am really excited - I don't know how I am going to wait 13 months!  gif

life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a well preserved, perfect body- rather we should skid in sideways, vodka in one hand, chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, screaming WOO HOO! What a ride!

Very reasonable prices, which is what swung it. I think it is £360 per week (but it sleeps upto 10) which is really good value if two families split the cost.

My kids have never been abroad yet, France later next month will be their first time on a airplane.
Hopefully they will like it if we have a 7+ hr flight next year.

I am going to cancel my holiday to Florida  gif gif gif

The flights have finally gone on sale and every single carrier to Orlando is quoting over £600 or thereabouts for the weeks that we want to go.
 gif  gif
I won't get much change out of £3000 just to get there!!!!  Most of the cost is fuel surcharges and taxes.  On speaking to a couple of travel agents they said it is highly unlikely they will get cheaper, they are always at their cheapest when they first release the seats.

The kids aren't bothered anyway - whenever we mention Disney they keep asking when we are going to Paris!  So...... I have decided we will do a week in one of the 4 star Disney Hotels iat Disneyland Paris, with a night or two either side in London then we can get the Eurostar (which will make my son extremely happy)

On the plus side....... All in including spends will be less than £3000 so the extra £2000 that we would have spent in Florida is going to go towards a new Dining Suite and Flat TV for my new dining room.

See, every cloud has a silver lining  gif gif
