If you were filling in a profile on a dating site would you be completely honest about yourself ?

Depends if you're looking for a one-nighter or a lasting relationship I guess.. lies, half-truths, omissions and embellishments probably work if you aren't bothered about the latter..

The most attractive profile I came across recently was a girl who described herself as a wurzel gummidge who wanted to go live in a bender in a field so I guess honesty can't harm. As long as you've got a fruitcake like me scanning the page gif

I often wonder how many people on those sites are truly looking - suspect a great number of the profiles are old, abandoned, fake, just someone messing about etc..

Genuine, spontaneous, non-profit-driven social networks LIKE SF are the way forward. Yay  gif

a wurzel gummidge who wanted to go live in a bender in a field

Thats my sort of girl. gif

I've never been on a dating site, but I've told a few porkies in my time when chatting up the girls. gif

My best one was pretending to be from Germany and didn't speak English, my mate sort of translated for me (neither of us spoke German BTW) I had a great night, some time later she found me propping up a bar and speaking English, she didn't have give me a clout, no sense of humour some people. gif gif gif

serves ya right romeo  gif

tbh i think these kind of dating sites are hard work

if i had a personal column it would just be a profile with a pm me at the bottom and the thread locked so the nasties can't get their kicks

after all i think dating is a personal thing
