Morning all. Gettin' dressed here & about to put my shoes on.

Do you think, what you wear on your feet, influences how others react to you?

Black leather boots today. The trainers are tooooooooooo smelly gif

Only thing about the boots is, I don't wear them enough, so even though they're a year old, they're still a bit hard, will be glad to get out of them by the end of the day no doubt.

Trainers are so comfy but I think they've gotta go. RIP  gif

I got horrified (i mean, totally disgusted lol) looks off a gaggle of 14 year olds when I bought my last pair in the Trafford Centre. Don't think they approved of the brand  gif

Couldn't give a fig myself as long as they're comfy  Smiley

when we were issued with new leather boots in the fire service, the best way to make them comfy was to sit in the bath with them on and give them a good soaking, keep them on wet for the rest of the day and they would dry to the shape of your foot, they could be worn all day then almost like slippers. gif

have your trainers gone past the washing machine treatment Argie, I've rescued mine out of the bin (where Mrs Lurks had chucked them) many times and washed them, .............well I love them. gif

Many people have told me over the years that the best way to soften boots is to p*ss on them (take 'em off first obviously). Don't know if it works coz I've never tried it - not keen on smelling like a public toilet every time I wear them  gif

Got to agree with on the Crocs, Blue..totally yuck!

I am one of those who do notice footwear, i always think if you look after your shoes etc., then you look after everything else you wear....and that you like to be smart.   Dont get me wrong i know the best ones are the tatty ones, coz they are comfy....but not the ones for work or a lunch out,  or shopping trip.

I just think when the footwear looks good, you've took time to think about them.  MInd you they can cost you a fortune, so you need to get the best from them.
I just love shoes, boots etc.....and bags.... gif

Pity I cant walk in half of them
