For the past month, my 5 year old son cannot seem to stop peeing.  He can go upto 5 times in an hour.
Our trip at the weekend was made virtually impossible by his demands to stop for the loo.  But he does do something every time!

We have been to the doctors twice in the last fortnight and each time he has done a urine sample but my son still cannot stop peeing.

He doesn't seem to be excessively thirsty but also complains of having hot flushes.
The doctor said the hot flushes are nothing to worry about but that doesn't help me a lot.

He did ask whether there was any familial history of diabetes (there isn't) but said it was highly unlikely anyway as my son is not fat.  The only explanation so far is that it is viral but I don't know what to do.

He has also not been sleeping properly for about a couple of weeks now, goes to bed around 7:30 but stays awake until nearly 10.  He doesn't have a TV or Pc in his room he just lies in bed awake!

His behaviour at the moment is atrocious, we had to come home early from the Lakes because he was so badly behaved.  He is generally a normal 5 YO but seems to be turning into a demon and I don't know how much of it is connected to the waterworks and sleeping issue.

Any suggestions anyone!

i would say behaviour is probably lack of sleep he is bound to be cranky

oddly enough my youngest is back and forth to the doctors at the moment for the exact same reason.

He is keeping the rest of the household awake with his constant trips to the loo.

i have a 5 yr old boy and his behaviour is awful at the mo, he goes thru rages its quite scary, he also uses the loo a lot in the daytime, i limit his drinks now so that he doesnt wet the bed as it is hard at 3am and you have to change the bed  gif i have also changed his drinks too, he used to drink juice all the time but now he gets water most of the time, if he is genuinelly thirsty he will drink it, i hope you get to the bottom of it, i stopped buying drinks with tartrazine in, it helped a bit  gif
