Was looking for my old thread but must have been on old friends

Some of you may remember daughter had op last year to cure condition called Kienbock's. Was new to me!

For those who don't know she had one bone in her arm longer than the other and this caused pain in her wrist and limited movement.

Last August they shortened this bone by cutting it and inserting a metal plate and screws to hold the bone while it healed. Followed by physio her pain has gone and movement has improved.

Back today to (I think), discuss removing the plate and screws.

Well she is on the waiting list to have them removed, her decision! The surgeon did recommend it also so in about 10 - 12 weeks she should go in. Will only have to be a day case and not as painful as the original op gif

He is really pleased how the op went and she is pain free now gif

You're the expert gif He just said there would be more complications if she ever broke her arm and as she is still young there's more chance of that happening so like you say better out gif
