My little boy is nearly 3 now and is a really bad Eczema sufferer..........yesterday I gave up all hope of the doctors helping him.
After numerous visits to the doctors surgery in a quest to help him I decided to go to the chemist and go back to the cream that a friend recommended ages ago (its the only thing that worked)
Sadly the cream and bath liquid is avaliable on prescription but it costs more than the other lotions and potion the doctor keep palming us off with.

If anyone has any tips on how to ease my littles ones eczema please it would be a great help.

When my daughter first got it (same age as your son) they started her off on the aqueaos(spl?) cream that didn't do much. When we went back he gave her a bath oil and a steroid cream which was only used very sparingly but did the job.

He also gave her a cream called 'diprobase' which was better than the aqueaos cream. You should get them on prescription for him, shouldn't be buying them gif

Thats exactly what the assitant said to me at the chemist but I have asked the doctor for the items I bought yesterday but they never give them to me. When I told the assitant this she told me it was probably because they cost more than the steriod treatments  gif

Yeah but if they're not working they should give him the next one, you expect them to try the cheap ones first but that's crazy gif

Last time we went the doctor he told me after the course of treatment he put him on he would refer him to a specialist because they have tried every treatment  gif  seems silly to do this because I know the stuff I bought yesterday will work  gif

So I have been advised to go back to the doctors and refuse to leave until they give him the treatment I know will work lol I might need to take a sleeping bag though
