Well I've left him there  He was in quite good spirits, treatment has started and the other fellas in his bay are having the same and seem to be ok  They haven't got the tele and internet there though, only a tele in the day room. He will have to listen to the Liverpool match on the radio  |

Well he's home after his first lot. So far so good, bit tired but apart from that he didn't find it too bad. Different fellas came and went from his ward so he had someone to speak to most of the time. All in for slightly different treatments but with one common bond. Next one on 21st May, he's just got to be careful to stay away from infection now. I've bought the alcohol handwash and dettol anti bac spray. Will have to sterilise the dog too  |

Well he's home today after 2nd lot. Unforunately as some of you know he's been back in between due to an infection and very sore mouth but feels so much better up to now this time. He goes back in on 11th June for 3rd lot then hopefully scans to see how it is all going. Had my ups and down but staying positive |

A few years ago while visiting my Sister in law in Clatterbridge I met an old mate, he had bowel cancer, they shrunk it to an operable size and he went into remission, I met him again the other day, he's just had his leg removed, didn't ask why, all he kept saying was how lucky he was to be still here, his outlook on life was amazing. Make me feel small when I complain about my diabetes or other minor ailments.  |

Well, he's back in tomorrow for 3rd lot of treatment. He's not been too bad this time, had his tiredness and very sore mouth but no high temperatures and infection  The weeks are flying past, hopefully will be all finished before we know it |
