Me mam is on 20 0dd pills a day................ gif

Shes fiit and active but has had some major opps in the past........

But all the tabs shes on are coflicting with each oher and hence causing new problems....so the doc just puts her on a new pill .....thats how its got to the 20+ shes on now......

She dosent know what half of them are for..but the doc just says she needs to take them......

I think most of them she dosent need but she over the years has built up a tollence to them...so even thought hey may not be benefitial to her anymore if she stopped she would get withdrawal problems.......

Iv told her to ask the doc to refer her to a specialist so she can have her medication assesed but the doc wont....

Im going to the hospital this Wed for leg xrays......does anyone know which department or person i should as for to see if i can get her assesd?

Thankyou................ Smiley

Would it not be her own GP that should assess exactly what's she on? Unless she is under a specialist of course that she could ask. gif

Her GP just tells her to keep taking them......its him that has been perscibing her them for years..........she wants to know what shes taking still and if she still needs to .......

He just says ..Yes....he wont tell her if she still needs them or if there effecting other tabs shes on........ gif
