what were your favourites and which did you hate

I loved English and History

hated science and needle craft ( spent more time unpicking stitches than making them yet i love cross stitch )

Chemistry, loved it all the way through. In addition to having an inbuilt-from-birth love of the subject, the first couple of years the teacher was full-on, proper mad-scientist bloke complete with wild hair and staring eyes. Which fitted perfectly with my idea at the time, of what a scientist should be like. Then round about the time when my voice dropped an octave, they did away with the Albert Einstein lookalike, and replaced him with one gorgeous scottish woman who was also a pyromaniac. I got an A.

I should of married her, there wouldn't have been a problem with the age difference or nuffink gif

We did Romeo & Juliet, 'The Pearl' & 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck in English Lit.. yeah quite enjoyed that subject

Fell by the wayside in later years though, rarely read non-fiction these days gif

I loved art, I could so kick myself for leaving school early and not doing any exams. I so wish I'd got my act together and gone on to college and done Art and Design and put my ideas to good use gif

life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a well preserved, perfect body- rather we should skid in sideways, vodka in one hand, chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, screaming WOO HOO! What a ride!
