Look what I bought!

I decided to get back into fish keeping, I’ve bought a fish tank, it’s the same as this only it’s black.

Just setting it up with gravel, rocks, plants etc. I’ll have to wait a few days before I can put fish in it.

I’ve found a fantastic aquarists shop selling a superb range of aquatic products.

The new Aquastore.

Owned by Alan and run by his manageress Sarah.

What they don’t know about fish keeping isn’t worth knowing, they are walking encyclopaedias on the subject.

I loved having my fish, but the maintenance is hardwork.

Fantastic Bill (is it going to be freshwater tropical or marine?)

Got rid of my tank a few months ago because it had started to leak, and then the fish died.. miss it already.

I like the rounded corners at the front.. better view

When I had my tank I made the mistake of accepting next door neighbours fish when she didn't want him anymore "because he'd got to big for her tank"

It was a baby catfish.. crimes those things can grow.

It's going to be tropical Neil,

yes the rounded corners are what appealed to me when buying the tank.

I bought four fluorescent light units for my tank Bill, I would imagine with a new tank you're all fixed up lighting wise but if not you're welcome to these. Each one has a 4 foot tube with it but they'll take shorter tubes. I was going to skip them along with the rest of the tank but I kept them back for no other reason that I don't like throwing out stuff that works.

Think I might have a pump/filter unit in fairly good nick as well. Again, yours if it'd be any good to you, if you haven't already got that part of the kit

Just been rooting in the garage for the stuff, doing well here, looks like I never chucked out the heater and the air pump either. Dunno if they're any good to you as well..
