Grand Palace Chinese Restaurant
11-13 Nevill St,
Southport.
Merseyside.
PR9 0DE.

I went yet again with my family yesterday, I have to say it's one of the best chinese restaurants I've eaten in.

For £9,90 per person (minimum 2 persons) we got:-

Chicken and sweetcorn soup with prawn crackers

2 spare ribs in hoisin sauce, 1 spring roll, 1 spicy chicken wing and 1 prawn toast each

Crispy duck, pancakes, spring onions and cucumber with plumb sauce.

A large selection of main meals with fried rice, cant remember them all, but I had mixed meats and green peppers in black bean sauce.

Banana fritters covered in syrup.

For £7.90 per person you knock off the duck.

Excellent food served in a very friendly atmosphere, I can highly recommend this restaurant.

life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a well preserved, perfect body- rather we should skid in sideways, vodka in one hand, chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, screaming WOO HOO! What a ride!

Every dish at Grand Palace is really salty and poor choice of vegetarian (on the buffet) - could not recommend the place

Not sure but I think you have to book on Sundays Jack, it's all you can eat "Dim Sum" then.

Well we went, wasn't over impressed I must admit gif

Think Eastbank Street has better choice of starters and soups. Also asked for dips and had to pay extra 50p. OK , I know it isn't much, more the principle.

Main meals were possibly better and one plus was the toffee fruits gif
