Where is a good place for lunch in Southport? Me and my friend go out on Thursdays and we thought we'd try Southport this week.

We are going to try Crystals in Birkdale Village next week as my 'leaving my job' meal.
Apparently it's about £5 and includes a drink.
Will write a review once digested!

I've had a lovely lunch in the 'Bold' on Lord street recently and 'Reuters' have got an offer on which I also really liked. The people were a mixed bunch midweek lunch time. My mates recommend Cheshire Lines for home cooked in a comfy warm pub atmosphere though, if that helps.
