Actually on reflection I seriously think this guy was.. on drugs or summat

Shot out from behind a parked transit, onto the opposite pavement, doing a flippin' 3 point turn in the middle of the road absolutely without looking at all in any way shape or form

I put 8 new pads and 2 new calipers & 4 new tyres on a month ago & honestly, if it wasn't for that, that guy would now have a toyota mr2 - shaped hole in his passenger side (and probably his missus too) - I had to totally stand on the brakes & stopped within about half a metre.

Glad I had my eyes open & my speed down

Thanks for the rant  gif

yeah she did me proud, dug right in, no fade or loss of traction, stood right up on her nose

really went to town on restoring the brakes, replaced 2 of them outright & electrolysed / strip-down rebuilt the other 2. very glad of the time I spent now. I owe the guys in imoc.co.uk a debt of gratitude now as if I didn't before..

No doubt you'd have got a "are you blind mate, didn't you see me" if you'd have hit him Argie, makes you wonder how some survive on the roads these day.

Not a flicker of recognition Lurks, he just carried on as if nowt had happened. Nuts.

Very very glad I didn't hit him because there were no witnesses within range.. and the rule about being able to stop for any eventuality would have put *me* in the blame!
