I thought the other night I had seen something run accross my sons bedroom floor, I quickly checked to make sure the spiders where still locked up and assumed that because I was tired I'd imagined it!  Well just mooching about online and noticed a cheeky mouse sat right behind my monitor like it was quite normal for it!  I should know by now that once the weather changes like this that the buggers decide they need somewhere dry and warmer to go, so they invade my house!  The only thing I hate about living near farmland is the rodents!
I have just gone round the whole houuse with little gifts of blue food in bags and trays for them all to feast on, as a welcome present!  Hope they enjoy it! ;)  If not option 2 is  :bat: with a heavy object!

Amoing other things we have a Tawny Frogmouth visit our garden more or less every night, haven't seen any mice or rats for years.  Does have its downside though, about fifteen years ago we had a nest of the highly endangered Marsuspial Mice, they are like miniature kangaroos, even though I'd placed wire mesh over their area the Frogmouth still got them all.

We did nearly get a snake, before we got the lizard, but my hubby was having none of it!

No I gave up owning cats cause of the road, I lost 2 on it in as many years and after having to pick up the last one myself I really couldnt stand the thought of losing any more.  Just wouldnt be fair!  With a bit of luck the mice will really enjoy my presents and pop off soon!

Aww.. yeah I can understand that :(

Drove up to see K the other day & there were a few grey streaks flash across the road in front of me - mice & rats & godknows what else small furry & 4legged, trying to get to drier ground
