Omg, I dont believe it....my youngest has nits....again!
Shes had a lovely time at a birthday party, came home, got in the bath and there the little buggers are having a nit GTG in her hair! gif
Its about time Linaker sorted out this epidemic and the parents that cant be arsed sorting out their kids hair need to be lynched, its just not fair on all the other kids that keep getting reinfected!

Rant over! gif

my daughters are in linaker and are forever being de-bugged, its a constant problem at that school, I treated both of my girls hair with lotion and combed it for the whole week they where off, there heads where completely clear on the saturday and sunday, come monday after school, I checked there heads as usual and low and behold the little gems had picked up a couple of big ones in the first day back.  Really does peeve me off that some parents just cant be bothered to do anything about it!!!  gif

like chaos fortunate to have boys whose heads can be shaved and kept sort

but as more and more schools send home letters on a weekly basis, isn't it time they admitted that there are some parents out there not willing to see to their own kids and fetch back the nit nurse  gif

my son has his hair shaved and I was horrified to find one in his hair once, he has a #2, sometimes it just doesnt matter what measures you take to keep your kids clear, they still get the buggers.  It should be compulsory for parents to do their kids hair regularly, those who dont should be given fines.

aye you may be right after all it is a kind of neglect

fortunately for me shaved heads and leave in conditioner seem to keep the nits at bay

doesn't stop me checking with a nit comb though

We had a little boy in a nursery I used to work in and dad shaved his hair to a No 1 and the nits were still clinging to it. They are hard work to get rid of but you can do it. Unfortunately as you say lots of parents just don't bother gif

Oh no, I'm all itchy now.

Mine always had them too. You just get rid and they got them again.

Thankfully they are older now and don't get them any more.

Next time you are waiting to send her in; stand in line with us and I'll point out the culprit, shes crawling when you look at her head you will see her hair move.
Mine is banned from playing or going anywhere near her.

I know its not the girls fault but there is really no excuse - a fine toothed comb and conditioner is the goevernments recommendation to de-louse, you can even get a "bug busting kit free" with care at the chemist or a "knitty gritty" comb free on prescription.

Rather than weighing children to make sure they are not obese they need to bring back nitty nora; school send letters home saying kids will be removed from school if found to have nits - but how many actually are gif

I have an idea who you mean Groovy.....its driving me mad now, I check her hair at least twice a week and I still sometimes miss the little buggers! Everytime I wash her hair I smother it in conditioner and nit comb it....seems to be the best way to spot them. I wont be taking her to school till Wednesday so will see you then.
