I came home from picking the kids up from school yesterday to find a large package in my front porch.

I knew I wasn't expecting any deliveries but my daughter dragged it in whilst I opened up the house.

It was two carrier bags full of drugs and other stuff!!!!! Not for me or anyone in my household for for some poor guy in Clarence Road ( I live in Claremont Road).

Seeing as the pharmacy carrier bags are semi-transparent I know exactly what medication this poor fellow is on and should I feel that way inclined I could work out his condition from the combination of drugs/shakes he was prescribed.

I called the pharmacy to complain and they were very apologetic, someone came and collected the parcel within 15 minutes - but they didn't know that I was an honest person.  I could have been anyone.
Clarence and Claremont meet and we have had wrong addressed stuff before but there is a big difference between the spotty pizza delivery boy getting it wrong and the pharmacy just dumping someone elses drugs in the porch!!

I wonder whether the chemist admitted to the patient what had happened.  I wasn't sure whether I should have gone around to speak to them or not.

BTW - It was Hirshmans!

thats not just disgraceful, surely it is gross misconduct.

The got no answer so they left a package of drugs (because thats what they are prescription or not ) unattended, in a porch where anyone could have happened to wander in and pick them up.

They are damned lucky they didn't get into the wrong hands  gif
