Is the Whitesmiths still open? Used to go in there quite a lot when I lived in Wigan in the 70s.

There just the ones we went in.....theres loads more in the town center........but iv still never been in Malloneys....the 5 times iv tryed its always been shut................... gif

If you look at the pics you will notice that every pub is on a slope....not ideal if your on a pub crawl realy........ gif

tis true stella but the hills the wrong way round for most folks

still surprises me when i get off the train how narrow and steep wigan is never noticed it when i lived there
