IIRC I promised some nice sunny day photos so here they are.
There are quite a few - must have had more sunshine than I thought.

About 15 minutes walk from the pub is this stretch of the River Clwedog

Looking upstream

Looking downstream

View across the valley from Coedpoeth

We went for a day out at Pontcysyllte Aquaduct & the weather was glorious

Looking south across the aquaduct, just before I set out to walk across
It's ****ing high & there's no railings on the water side - the wind seems a lot stronger in the middle too!

Looking up the River Dee towards Llangollen

A closer view of the bridge - I walked down there later to get some pics of the Aquaduct

Looking the other way along the Dee

Blimey it looks a long way back

The aquaduct from the road down to the little bridge

The aquaduct from the bridge - you can just see people walking across

Looking the other way from the bridge

A bit further along the road I found this view of the aquaduct
To give you an idea of the height, those are full size goalposts just in front of it

Looking up at the aquaduct from the valley bottom

On the way back we stopped at Nant Mill, just because it's a lovely place when the sun is shining

The old mill building - now a Visitor Centre

The River Clwedog at Nant Mill

One of the many little waterfalls

Probably my favourite photo of them all - I love the sunlight through the trees
Currently my Desktop picture on my lappy

Thanks for looking - hope you enjoyed them

Bit steep in places & rather overgrown in parts but a lovely way to spend an afternoon
(& a great excuse for a couple of beers when we got back!)
