I still feel terribly sad when I listen to her music as I can't help thinking about the tragic way she died. It should never have happened. Her mum is still fighting  to bring the whoever was in charge of the boat to justice.

Yes it's always at the back of my mind when I listen to her, too. Very sad.

this one has to be added it means so much personally

Has my fiance was killed in a motorbike accident ( please don't drink and drive the innocent die ) I found out my best friend had aids.  within a couple of years i had to watch them both lowered in the ground, so as you can imagine didn't want Christmas.  I was a bit of a wild girl ( not bad just daft ) but my mentor was always there.

My plans were to go out and drink myself in to oblivion, but he had other idea's, on a cold christmas day i served up din ner and listened to the tales of Manchester's down and outs

this song is always a reminder that no matter how much these drunks junkies can be a pest they are people with stories too

sorry if i have bored you  gif

I have the 12" vinyl of this one somewhere, probably one of my faves

I used to have a full set of 80's sequencing multicolour disco lights, and they always got switched on for this  gif
